Athens County Children Services New Office Facility
BDT designed a new Children Services facility for Athens, OH, complete with spaces for various uses (like one-on-one meetings, conference rooms, offices, and recreational rooms). As of July 2025, construction on the new structure began!
Jackson Memorial Building Renovation
This Jackson, OH project started in 2024 as a feasibility study and has recently turned into an adaptive reuse project. The Memorial Building is set to be renovated into Jackson’s new City Hall building, including stone and masonry veneer to update the exterior. Our designer Eric Smith drafted up this colored elevation to display design possibilities to citizens of Jackson.
Downtown Jackson Streetscape
Another current project in Jackson, OH is our overhaul of the downtown streetscape. BDT is no stranger to a streetscape revitalization (Union St Athens, OH), and we understand the importance of projects like these. Streetscape revitalization enhances the walking experience, makes public spaces more accessible, and improves the visual appeal of the city. These improvements can also stimulate local economies by attracting foot traffic and encouraging investment in nearby businesses.
Holzer Childcare Facility
We’re in the process of building a 12,000 SF childcare facility for Holzer Health System in Gallipolis, OH. Serving over 100 children, the center will support children of various ages, as a resource for Holzer employees to use while they’re working. Areas for learning, play, and care are all included in the design–providing a practical and welcoming environment for working families in Gallipolis.
100+ Year Old Renovation in Glouster
We’re currently renovating a building that’s at least 100 years old in Glouster, OH. The scope of this project involves renovating a dilapidated building into a new and usable space for the community. In conjunction with HAPCAP, the building is currently set for mixed-use, hosting apartments on the upper floors, and businesses on the main floor. OSU Morehouse Outpatient Renovation
This one is a special announcement. Our project at OSU Wexner Medical Center’s Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care is completed! We renovated over 100,000 SF of space, streamlining the patient experience while also providing spaces that are centered around patient and staff well-being. Dive deeper into that project here.
Operating Room in O’Bleness Hospital:
The first phase of our Surgery Suite renovation at OhioHealth’s O’Bleness Hospital in Athens is currently wrapping up. As we move into the second phase of the project, enjoy these photos of a recently finished OR in the facility.
Home National Bank in Ravenswood, WV
Our new construction project in Ravenswood, WV, just opened last month (June 2025). As the first branch in WV and fourth branch in total, Home National Bank’s new facility balances security, accessibility, and premium customer experience using modern materials and efficient space planning.
Station 177 in Logan, OH
Another recently opened project from BDT is Station 177 in Logan, OH. Sitting at around 6,000 SF, this facility is a gas station, truck stop, and merchandise combination that’s situated in the perfect location for a fill up. More photos coming soon!
