OUR MISSION & STRENGTHS

BDT supports organizations to realize their core purpose:
Improving the user experience.

FUNCTIONALITY
Serving the Customer’s Customer

The people who occupy our spaces are the central focus of our practice. We improve the user experience through a creative design process of investigation, stewardship and solution-making.

FLEXIBILITY
Identifying Needs Across Disciplines

Because our team is agile and trained in complementary disciplines, our projects act as bridges. We save you time and effort by carefully managing the design process.

COMMUNITY
Building Good Neighbors

Every new and renovated space exists in the context of place. We learn about your place, and help construct good relationships.

ORIGINS

Originating in 1983 as an energy-conscientious practice, BDT has incorporated sustainable design principles routinely for over 30 years. We consider the integration of a built work within its time and place synonymous to a successful practice.
