Athens County Children Services
Office Building & Campus Improvements
Following BDT’s facility assessment and feasibility studies, Athens County Children Services (ACCS) will build the new Athens County Children Services Office on its campus. The 25,000 SF facility will consolidate services currently spread across the campus and off-site locations into one central building. By centralizing departments, the new Athens County Children Services Office will improve efficiency, access, and collaboration among staff and clients.
A 6,500 SF replacement facility will also be constructed to met essential operational needs. Outdated structures no longer serving campus goals will be demolished and removed. Buildings 6 and 8 will be upgraded to meet modern standards and better support campus functionality. Site improvements will include new utilities, roads, and landscaping to support long-term growth and adaptability for ACCS operations.
