OSU Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care
Facility Improvements
This multi-phased renovation and addition project at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care Facility focused on improving patient experience and operational efficiency. The project included 105,000 SF of interior renovations and a 7,000 SF addition to support departments such as Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Urgent Care, OPAC, Comprehensive Weight Management, and others.
Work included reconfiguring circulation, improving accessibility, and consolidating departmental layouts to support clearer wayfinding and more efficient use of space. A second-floor expansion introduced a naturally lit atrium with flexible seating. Additional upgrades included roof and envelope repairs, renovated restrooms, landscape improvements, parking lot updates, and revised signage and wayfinding throughout.
The facility remained operational throughout construction, requiring careful coordination between phases to minimize disruption to patients and staff.
