BDT is proud to announce that Principal Nicholas Bittner was named chairperson of the AIA Columbus Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) Committee.
The committee’s purpose is to disseminate discussion on the development of computer technology and its impact on architecture practice and the entire building life cycle. While intended to serve as a resource for AIA members, the profession, and the public in the deployment of computer technology in the practice of architecture, Nicholas hopes to broaden the committee’s appeal through engagement with the local community.
The first outreach effort is slated for Driving Park Library Branch on E. Livingston. Planned with the assistance of TAP committee member Joseph Moss of NBBJ, the tour includes a presentation on how technology informed the design process.
TAP committee holds quarterly public events that include tours, lectures, and workshops. More members are always welcome. For more information, click here.
